What is Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is a chronic syndrome which is characterized by a widespread feelings of joint and muscle pain, tender areas on the skin, feeling pain easily, fatigue, and a variety of other symptoms. It often coexists with or leads to the development of other conditions, such as depression and anxiety disorders. It is often considered similar to a chronic arthritic disease, but there is no actual damage or inflammation in the joints or muscles.
